Security controls in the SANK voting platform
The live system combines identity checks, OTP-based access control, audited admin workflows, and receipt verification to preserve one-member-one-vote integrity.
Registration now checks both the registered email and the member identity details used at sign-up, so duplicate registrations are blocked instead of creating multiple voter records.
Temporary email services are rejected before a voter record is created, and registration domains must resolve as deliverable mail domains before they are accepted.
Voting still requires the issued Voter ID, the live election code, and an email OTP before a ballot session is opened.
Admin logins require password plus OTP verification, with secure cookies, origin checks, and time-bound sessions protecting privileged access.
After a ballot is submitted, the system issues a receipt that proves the vote was recorded without exposing the voter’s candidate selections.
